Note: All page types count as one page each. Even if the page is a sub-page, a not-in-menu page, or a password-protected page, they each count as one page in your total page limit (Lite and Standard plans).

    • The Intro page background color and content font color can be changed through the ‘Edit Theme’ tab.
    • The Intro page does not display the navigation menu.
    • The ‘Enter Site’ button can be removed through the Intro page options:
      • From the ‘Edit Content’ tab, click ‘Pages’ then click the pencil icon next to the page name
      • Click ‘Advanced settings’
      • Make your selection next to ‘Show intro link?’ (yes/no)
      • Click ‘Save’

Best practice: An intro page is great for displaying a temporary message, but shouldn’t be used long-term. Use it for announcements about your new album release or an upcoming tour, then take it down after about two weeks. Longer than that, it becomes an extra step for fans to access your website - this can be annoying to click through every time they visit. Fans should be encouraged to come back, so make the homepage the focus of your band’s website design, rather than the intro page. To create a Homepage that will engage your website visitors, please see: ‘How to build the perfect homepage for your band website.’
